ProFractional Laser Peel

ProFractional Laser Peel is a quick and relatively comfortable laser procedure with little to no downtime used to improve the overall appearance of your skin. The conditions most commonly treated include wrinkles, fine lines, acne scars, age spots, sun spots, and freckles. Most skin types and body areas can be treated, including the face, neck, chest, and hands.

How Does the ProFractional Laser Peel Work?

An advanced microbeam technology is used which creates thousands of microscopic channels in the skin that are surrounded by areas of healthy, untreated skin. The zones of untreated skin invigorate the body’s natural healing process, and the treated areas stimulate the production of new collagen, plumping up the skin and smoothing out wrinkles, lines, scars, and other irregularities. Since only a fraction of the skin is directly treated with the laser, healing time is quick and downtime is short.

Am I a Good Candidate for the ProFractional Laser Peel?

You’re a good candidate for a ProFractional Peel if you have moderate signs of aging and want to minimize wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, and more. You should be in good health and have realistic expectations for this treatment.

How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?

A typical treatment takes about an hour to perform. Just before your treatment is performed, a topical anesthesia will be applied to your skin’s surface. This should help keep you comfortable throughout the procedure. You may experience warming and a mild tingling sensation as your peel is being performed.

What Results Will I See?*

You should expect to see younger, tighter, and smoother-looking skin after your final ProFractional Laser Peel; these results are usually visible about three to six months and can last for a year or more.

Is There Any Downtime?

After the treatment you may experience a mild redness, resembling a sunburn sensation. Complete healing takes about 3 to 5 days and most patients can get back to work and apply makeup within 1-2 days after treatment. It is important to stay out of the sun afterward as your skin will be more sensitive to ultraviolet light.
