Are you interested in getting Botox, but not sure how much you should spend on your treatment?
We’ve got the answers you’ve been looking for.
Take a look at our in-depth guide on how much Botox costs, including how long your results may last.
How Much Does Botox Cost?
Botox costs can vary from provider to provider, as the following factors can influence the final price of your Botox injection:
- The experience and expertise of your Botox provider
- If any specials or discounts are offered
- The cost-of-living index where you live
Perhaps the biggest influence on how much you’ll pay for your Botox injection is the number of units needed to achieve your results. Botox is priced out by unit, with the average unit price amounting to $14. Most Botox users need anywhere from 20 to 60 units of Botox to get their desired results.
From there, it’s simple math to determine how much your Botox should cost. For example, if you need 30 units of Botox to minimize forehead lines and wrinkles, your Botox costs may be around $420 ($14 per unit x 30 units).

How Long Does Botox Last?
Botox results typically last about three to four months; however, if you’ve been getting Botox injections for awhile, your results may last for up to six months.
Results can include:
- Improved appearance of forehead lines and wrinkles
- Smoother frown lines
- Minimization of crow’s feet
What Age Should I Start Getting Botox?
There’s no one right age for getting Botox, as it can be used as a wrinkle treatment and as a wrinkle preventative.
At Winter Park Plastic Surgery & Laser Center, most of our first-time Botox patients are in their thirties and forties and looking to smooth away mild to moderate forehead wrinkles and lines.
